Many friends of Mithra would remember Anna Mary, a long-time resident of Mithra. She loved the children at Mithra, and took a particular interest in the girls who’s dormitories were adjacent to her room.
Over the years as she met each new group of visitors to Mithra from Australia, she was very interested in each of them. When she met these teachers from Australia she would love to recall the names of the teachers from previous visits and she would always asked after them and their families. She prided herself on her memory.
After a protracted and painful illness, Anna Mary died last week and is now with her loving Father in heaven. She was a woman of extraordinary faith. May she rest in peace.
