Rose Bartlett started raising money for Friends of Mithra in 2020 as part of a year 9 school IB community project making dog treats. She really likes dogs and remembered her dad talking about an email he received from an old school teacher who was on the board of Mithra. Rose thought that was such a great cause. So she set a goal to raise $500 that year and raised over $1500 and decided to keep the project going.
Rose finished school last year (2023) and is still working on her social enterprise. Daisy and Doug’s Doggie Co. now have a range of dog leads, collars, and accessories including a special Indian themed Mithra lead, as well as an original, all natural, healthy dog treats.
