A Joyful Christmas at Mithra: Gifts, Stories, and Surprising Guests!
A recent, very generous donation from St Rita’s College in Brisbane was put towards a day at the beach for many of the children, Sisters, and staff at Mithra. For many, this was the first time they had seen the ocean and stood at the edge to feel the surf.
The Mithra Sisters informed Friends of Mithra that there were loud shrieks of delight when they first saw the ocean and felt the sand under their feet. As part of the donation, the Sisters were able to buy ice creams for everyone on the day, which only added to the enjoyment.
